The Skiniti Cup Instructions

1) What it is

The Skiniti Cup brings the benefits of traditional cupping into a compact, cordless device for home use. It combines adjustable suction with gentle heat and red-light therapy to help ease muscle tension and support surface circulation—no clinic visit required.

2) Key Specs

  • Suction range: ~–60 to 0 kPa
  • Heat range: 38–50 °C (100–122 °F)
  • Red-light wavelength: 630–670 nm
  • Power: 5 W
  • Battery life: up to ~3 hours at high settings
  • Charge time: ~3 hours
  • Size: 90 × 90 × 78 mm

3) Before you begin

  1. Prep skin: Clean the area and add a light layer of oil or moisturizer to help the cup glide.
  2. Cup care: Twist the clear cup off counter-clockwise, disinfect, dry thoroughly, then reattach firmly.
  3. First-time use: Test a small area for a couple of minutes on the lowest settings to gauge sensitivity.

4) Controls at a glance

  • Power / Mode button
    • Press & hold ~1s to turn on/off.
    • Auto-timer: each session is capped at 20 minutes for safety.
    • Modes (Max only):
      • M1 – Rhythmic Pull: gradual apply-and-release pattern.
      • M2 – Glide Assist: slower pull with quicker releases—ideal when moving the cup across oiled skin.
    • Tap the Power/Mode button to switch between M1 (one dash on the display) and M2 (two dashes).
  • Suction button
    • Starts around level 3 by default.
    • Tap to step through levels 1–12; after 12 it returns to 1.
    • The screen briefly shows the level, then returns to the countdown.
  • Heat / Red-light button
    • Heat level 3 with red light is on by default.
    • Tap to cycle levels 1–12; after level 12, it returns to 0 (off) which also turns off the red light.
  • Quick-Release button
    • Instantly vents suction so the cup can be removed.
    • Hold the device before pressing to avoid drops. A few seconds may be needed for full release.

5) How to use

  1. Power on → confirm M1 (one dash). Switch to M2 for sliding/gliding work.
  2. Start low: Level 1 suction and low heat for 1–2 minutes on a small area.
  3. Adjust gradually: Increase intensity only if comfortable.
  4. Per-area guideline: Up to 20 minutes maxevery other day. Beginners should do much less at first.
  5. Remove safely: Press Quick-Release, wait for pressure to drop, then lift the cup.

Tip: For glide work, keep the skin lightly oiled and use M2. For stationary holds, use M1.

6) About marks, bruising & blisters

Color changes (temporary circular marks) are a normal response to cupping. If you notice undue discomfort, sharp pain, or blistering, stop immediately and allow the area to fully recover before the next session. Beginners are more prone to overdoing it—slow and gentle wins.

7) Who should not use the device

Do not use if you have or are any of the following (not a complete list): implanted medical devices (e.g., pacemaker), serious cardiovascular/neurological conditions, bleeding disorders, active infection, fever, open wounds, recent surgery, varicose veins over the target area, severe skin sensitivity, known sensitivity to heat or red light, pregnancy/menstruation (without medical advice).
Avoid use near the heart, on the face/genitals, or over large superficial vessels.
If you’re under medical care or unsure whether cupping is appropriate for you, consult a clinician first. Keep out of reach of children.

8) Care, filter & storage

  • After each session: Power off and wipe the cup and body with a clean, slightly damp cloth; dry fully.
  • Disinfect the clear cup before/after sharing (best practice: one user per device). Do not use harsh solvents or immerse the device in liquid.
  • Cotton filter: The circular filter traps debris. Clean the device regularly; check the filter weekly and replace it if suction performance drops.
  • Charging & storage: Use a dry environment away from heat, moisture, and strong magnets/EMF. Charge periodically if unused for long periods.

9) Safety & battery notes

  • Do not plug/unplug with wet hands.
  • Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, or expose the device to water or fire (lithium battery).
  • The surface may warm during longer sessions—monitor your skin comfort.
  • After cupping, allow ~45 minutes before bathing to let the skin settle.
  • Never use while driving.

10) First-week game plan (recommended)

  • Day 1–2: Level 1 suction, low heat, 1–3 min per spot.
  • Day 3–4: Level 2–3 suction, low-mid heat, 3–5 min per spot if comfortable.
  • Day 5–7: Gradually explore higher settings as tolerated; still keep sessions under 20 min per area and rest every other day.

Quick Troubleshooting

  • Cup won’t release easily: Press Quick-Release and slide a finger under the cup rim to admit a bit of air.
  • Weak suction: Check that the clear cup is firmly seated, the filter isn’t clogged, and the battery is charged.
  • Skin irritation: Reduce settings, shorten time, or stop and allow full recovery.

Important: Use only as directed. Improper use may cause injury. The information above is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional care.
